Despite these adjustments, we remain committed to key growth initiatives. The company will host its first developer conference next month, inviting engineers from across the region to showcase our platform and recruit new talent.

Early registration numbers gave a strong indication that this year's developer conference attendance was larger than last year's, following the company's rapid growth over the past twelve months. The events team has already secured a bigger venue to accommodate the increased interest.

We understand budget adjustments can be frustrating, but we believe these changes will help us invest more strategically in initiatives that directly support our growth, such as the upcoming conference. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we navigate this transition.

TechNova Inc. shared the results of a recent workplace survey with all employees last week. The company wanted feedback on its new office space that opened three months ago in the downtown business district. More than two hundred employees completed the survey before last Friday's deadline.

Overall, most employees said they appreciate the extra natural light and the larger break room. Many workers have also added small succulent plants to their desks, giving the office a more relaxed feel. A few employees still miss the standing desks from the old building. Those desks allowed them to move around more during the workday.

Company leaders plan to order more standing desks next month, based on this feedback. They also hope to survey employees again early next year, to track further changes. This will happen after the new furniture arrives and becomes integrated into daily use.

Subject: Contract changes taking effect 1 April — please read before renewing

Dear customer,

Three things about your contract are changing on 1 April. Two are in your favour and one is not, and I would rather set out all three plainly than let you find the third one in a footnote.

First, data export. Every Business Plan account will be able to export its full data set — records, attachments, and audit history — at any time, in a documented open format, at no charge. Previously this was a paid service requested through support. Several customers told us, fairly, that charging for the return of a customer's own data sits badly with the rest of how we operate.

Second, the support response commitment. Our target for a first response to a priority-one ticket moves from four hours to two, twenty-four hours a day. This is a commitment, not an aspiration: if we miss it, a credit is applied automatically to the next invoice without your needing to ask.

Third, and this is the one that is not in your favour: the annual price of the Business Plan rises from $4,200 to $4,620, an increase of ten percent. This is our first increase in four years. Customers who renew before 1 April will hold the current price for a further twelve months.

One clarification, because we have been asked. Accounts that lapse and are reactivated later will be charged at the rate in effect on the day of reactivation. Renewing early protects your price; letting the contract end does not.
