This notice is posted for all passengers using the north entrance escalator at Riverside Station. It will be closed for three days starting Monday. During this time, technicians will floss a new drive cable through the motor housing below the steps. The cable, after several years of daily use, has started to fray. Station staff decided not to wait for a full breakdown.

During the same period, crews will also complete seismic reinforcement work on the nearby support column. They will add steel plates to strengthen it against strong tremors. Passengers should use the south entrance, or the elevator near platform two. This detour will stay in place, at least until both projects are finished. We expect normal service to resume by Thursday morning. Notices will appear throughout the station to guide passengers to these routes.

Re: East Wing Renovation and New Check-In Kiosks

As most of you already know, guests are asked to confirm their reservation at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date, and I want to remind everyone that this policy remains unchanged during the current renovation. The renovation of the hotel's east wing will continue through the end of next month, though guest rooms in the west wing remain unaffected and should be assigned as usual.

During this period, please direct any guest booked into an east wing room to the front desk for reassignment, as several floors are currently closed to accommodate the construction crew's schedule. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this causes and ask that staff remain patient with guests who may express frustration about noise near the elevators.

On a more positive note, thanks to the new self-service kiosks installed in the main lobby last week, guests can now enjoy a seamless check-in experience that takes less than two minutes for those without special requests. Early feedback from guests has been overwhelmingly positive, and we expect the kiosks to reduce front desk wait times significantly once staff are fully trained on troubleshooting common issues.

Despite last year's slow bookings, hotel management remains sanguine about the upcoming tourist season, particularly given the improvements now underway. A full training session on the kiosks will be held this Thursday at 9:00 A.M. in the staff lounge; attendance is mandatory for all front desk personnel.

Subject: Reflections on the Summer Season and Changes for Next Year

Now that our busiest summer season on record has wrapped up, I wanted to take a moment to share some reflections and outline a few changes we will be making before next year's peak season begins.

Occupancy across all room categories averaged 94% from June through August, and our beachfront villas were fully booked for eleven consecutive weeks. This is a remarkable achievement, and it reflects the hard work every one of you put in, often under considerable pressure, to keep guest experiences running smoothly during our busiest stretch in the resort's history.

That said, our guest feedback surveys identified check-in wait times as the most common source of frustration, particularly on Saturdays when multiple large groups arrived within the same two-hour window. Starting next season, we will introduce a staggered check-in system that assigns arrival time slots to groups of ten or more guests, along with a dedicated express check-in lane for guests who have completed online pre-registration.

We are also adding two additional front desk positions for the June through August period specifically, so that staffing levels better match the demand we now know to expect.

I am genuinely proud of how this team performed this summer, and I am confident these changes will make next season even smoother, both for our guests and for all of you.
